  • Overview of Organization and Services:
    Arbour Health System is the largest private behavioral health system in Massachusetts. They are committed to providing easy access to a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for patients of all ages. It provides a continuum of care that includes clinical evaluation, inpatient crisis stabilization, and treatment for patients with mental illness, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions.

    Programs are designed to provide evaluation and stabilization of the individual’s primary symptoms and problems. Programs emphasize developing coping mechanisms and skill-building to create the best opportunity to prevent relapse. Medication stabilization and management is also emphasized to prepare the individual to successfully step down to a less restrictive level of care, including back to the community.

    Services include:
    •Inpatient, partial day programs and outpatient service for children, adolescents and adults
    •Community services
    •Group therapy for patients suffering from co-occurring psychiatric and eating disorders
    •Group therapy for gay, lesbian bisexual and transgender patients
    •Latino mental health services
    •Evening group therapy program and other intensive outpatient programs
    •On-site behavioral services for nursing homes and assisted living facilities
    •Outpatient counseling
    •School-based mental health programs
    •Suboxone treatment
    •Mental health services for women
    •Electroconvulsive Therapy
