- Overview of Organization and Services:
As the first nonsectarian, interracial organization for girls in the United States, becoming coeducational in 1974, Camp Fire takes pride in its long-standing commitment to providing fun programs and services to all children and families. We are inclusive and open to every person in the communities we serve. We welcome children, youth and adults regardless of race, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, sexual orientation or any other aspect of diversity.
Camp Fire's programs are designed and implemented to reduce gender-bias, racial, and cultural stereotypes and to foster positive intercultural relationships.
From our exceptionally popular summer camps, to Sparks school age child care, to our After School and Vacation Programs, our staff is here to help you to provide an environment of learning, security, and growth. Our Camp Fire mission: To Build Caring Confident Youth and Future Leaders.
