The Senior Adult Behavioral Medicine Center helps people 55 and older through major life changes that require hospitalization. Phone: 978-521-8360; Fax: 978-521-3658. When major life changes trigger emotional conditions in older adults that require hospitalization, the Senior Adult Behavioral Medicine Center offers a comforting, structured environment. The hallmark of our program, for people 55 and older, is the daily care each patient receives from an exceptional team of geriatric professionals, combined with the extensive diagnostic services available in our true hospital setting. Our goal is to promote the best possible recovery. We work with the abilities of each patient to restore mental health by creating new behaviors. The treatment plans we create are individualized, and involve a team approach that focuses on patient strengths. Our care doesn’t end when patients are discharged – it follows them home. We work with each patient, family members and physicians to develop a comprehensive discharge plan. We can also act as a liaison between the family, physician and other care facilities to ensure that our patients’ needs and goals are met.

The Comprehensive Addiction Program supports patients following detoxification from drugs and alcohol. Our team of highly qualified medical professionals, chemical dependency counselors, social workers and mental health counselors offer outpatient care while patients are achieving independence from addiction.
