    Our Neighbors’ Table provides hot meals once a week, a food pantry at multiple locations and times, special holiday programs, emergency food assistance, and a summer lunch program for kids.

    Hot, nutritious three-course meals are served every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Vestry Hall of the Main Street Congregational Church at 145 Main Street in Amesbury. Everyone is welcome. In addition to table service, guests are welcomed to take a carry-out meal.

    Our Food Pantry provides an assortment of grocery staples, personal care items, baby food and diapers, and fresh dairy, meat, and produce. All locations require a basic registration and proof of residence. Food distribution locations:

    Main Street Congregational Church, 145 Main St, Amesbury: Fridays, 10:30am - 1:00pm and Saturdays, 9:30am - 12:00pm. Serving Amesbury, Boxford, Byfield, Georgetown, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury, South Hampton, and West Newbury. Residents of all towns may use the pantry once per week.

    Delivery Services, Amesbury, Groveland, Merrimac: Available to home-bound individuals. Please contact your local Council on Aging to apply for delivery to your home.

    Heritage Towers, 180 Main St, Amesbury: 1st Tuesday, 9:30 am - 10:30 am and 3rd Wednesday, 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Residents of Heritage Towers and Heritage Vale only.

    Powwow Villa, Amesbury: 1st Tuesday, 9:30am - 10:30am and 3rd Wednesday, 9:30am - 10:30am. Residents of Heritage Towers and Heritage Vale only.

    Merrimac Senior Center, 100 E. Main St, Merrimac: 1st and 3rd Saturdays, 9:30am - 10:30am. Residents of Merrimac only.

    Our holiday programs offer a variety of groceries to help families prepare a delicious holiday meal in their own home for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Registration opens 1 month prior to holiday distribution. Distribution dates are listed in the local paper, on our website, and in our office during the holiday season.

    We partner with Project Bread as a resource for emergency food assistance. Individuals and families in immediate need of food, due to homelessness, displacement, or other critical circumstances, may contact us during normal business hours at the office at 978.388.1907, or outside of business hours, at the Emergency Hotline at 978.835.3016.

    Emergency Bags: Bags filled with personal care products and emergency food are distributed to those who are homeless, living in motels, or displaced due to fire, water breaks, or other emergencies. We also give these bags to local community service agencies, the police and fire departments, and several local churches.

    The Children's Summer Lunch Program serves families with school-aged children through July and August. Pre-packed bags include fresh milk, cheese, bread, breakfast and lunch items, juice, snacks, and fresh fruit. Pre-registration is required and opens in June. Priority is given to families who qualify for free- and reduced- meals through the school system. This program is open to residents of all 12 towns we serve.
