- Overview of Organization and Services:
Ruth's House Inc. is a non profit corporation operating a charitable thrift store in Haverhill, MA. Our mission is to recycle, reuse and renew for charity. Our goal is to help clothe low income people.
Ruth's House works with 80 different service agencies and faith based groups throughtout the Greater Merrimack Valley. They refer people to us in need of clothing. Many are homeless and on the streets, some have fled to shelters for safety and still others are in shelters trying to rebuild their lives. We help babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, men, women, veterans and the elderly. All of them deserve to be warm and dry. Shoes, coats and underwear aren't luxuries, they are necessities.
