  • Overview of Organization and Services:
    The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. You do not need to be religious to participate in their activities.

    The Salvation Army hosts multiple activities, has a food pantry, provides a free community dinner on Thursdays, offers emergency relief, has a summer camp program, and provides assistance with fuel costs through the Good Neighbor Energy Fund. The Salvation Army also provides emergency shelter in the event of hurricanes, etc.
